The Battle for Anzio â€“ â€˜The Breakoutâ€™ November 19th-20th 2011 Only Â£75 for the whole weekend prebook (Â£95 if payment is made on the day) Â£45 must be paid as a deposit to secure your place. Piddington Training area A -May 21st 1944 After months of stalemate, patrolling and artillery exchanges Clarke is ready to make his move. But before this can happen, the solid staging area of the old city plant, North of Anzio needs to be cleared of the dug in German 362 infantry Division and the supporting units of Parachute and SS regiments. This once thriving factory complex has good firing positions for rocket and artillery batteries as well as large warehouses that still stand. Clarke has 150,000 men desperate to move of the beach head and needs this position taken so his guns can be ready for May 23rd, â€˜The Breakoutâ€™ This battle represent only a small part of the operation to take good staging areas around Anzio City, there will be 7 CPs around the battlefield as well as key objectives to complete for both sides. The Allies will have a static HQ and a mobile CP (which can be destroyed) which if destroyed, must return to the HQ for regen. The Axis forces will have multiple HQs at the 4 southern Bridges. Vehicles will feature quite heavily in the event as the site is so large but a 5mph limit will be enforced. Allied forces OC. Gadge 2IC. Evo British forces CO. hi guys im hoping to make this my first event! i would like to be on the german side as i already have most ss uniform and gear, just need to borrow a gun.
As a total noob to this what is the accommodation for this event and basically what do i do? i do reenacting so most of my kit is good and i enjoy getting stuck in!

Hi matey, your fine to book on and can rent a rifle if needed. mp40 Â£30, Bolt action Rifle Â£20.

The tent your are bringing yourself

basically what do i do?

Shoot the allies 'between their eyes' and follow the orders given.

You will enjoy it, the big difference with re-enactment is, you do hit the guys on the other end

I'm afraid I'm going to have to pull out of this event, my wife's knee replacement has been brought forward :cry:
Try and flog off my place but if you cant then so be it. Sorry for the let down.

I can certainly understand that, but will be spending 2 nights under canvas, 2 foam bedrolls, 2 inflatable matresses, 2 sleeping bags, blankets and a camping gaz tent heater, I will be warm! :ghey:
